We had a great Easter this year. When I first asked Cooper why we have Easter, he said, "To get Easter eggs." So, I had to set him straight in a hurry! Several days later, I asked him that question again, and he said, "Easter is when baby Jesus died on the cross, and then they put him in a cave, and he became alive again!" So, except for the BABY Jesus part, he seemed to have a pretty good understanding of what Easter really means! We DID do the traditional Easter egg thing, however, and that was a lot of fun. On Saturday (which was a GORGEOUS day), we went to a community Easter egg hunt where they had 3,000 eggs that were gone in about 2 minutes flat! It was amazing how fast those eggs disappeared into Easter egg baskets! Two of Cooper's buddies (Kloe & Reagan) were there, so that made it all the more enjoyable for him! After that, we went home and enjoyed the beautiful weather by playing frisbee and baseball outside. Later that day, Jim took Cooper REAL golfing at Branson Pitch-n-Putt (a par 3 golf course that is perfect for beginners). Cooper had an absolute BLAST and thought he was pretty big stuff! On Easter Sunday, Jim's family came over, and we celebrated Cooper's birthday again and had little Easter egg cakes that Cooper and I made and decorated. It was a fun weekend!
