Pumpkin Carving Time

Jim and I had never actually carved pumpkins before, so we thought that would be a fun activity that we could do with Cooper. Well, Cooper lost interest (and was grossed out) after about 5 min., so Jim ended up doing it pretty much by himself. Cooper was thrilled with the finished product though, as was Jim. He was so proud of his accomplishment that he even took a picture of it on his phone so he could show his buddies at school!

Fall Fun

Fall is one of my very favorite seasons! I love the cool weather after a long, hot summer. I love digging out my cozy sweaters, watching the leaves change colors, visiting the pumpkin patch, carving pumpkins, drinking apple cider, and all the other fun fall traditions that make it such a fun time of year. I also love visiting Silver Dollar City and Celebration City in the fall because it's not so hot and crowded and because they always go all out with their fall decor. It always makes for some great photo ops!
