Colton & Cooper

Well, some of the novelty of Colton has worn off now for Cooper. He still enjoys holding him, giving him his pacifier, and helping me burp him occasionally, but now the jealousy is kicking in a little bit. It's still nothing like I had imagined/feared, but Cooper definitely has his moments. It seems to be the worst when I'm feeding Colton. During that time, Cooper all of a sudden needs my undivided attention and "needs" me to get him all these things--like juice, a snack, or a certain toy that he supposedly can't get by himself! :) It's getting a little better though, and he's starting to learn that it isn't all about him anymore and he has to wait his turn. I'm not saying it's easy for him, but he doesn't whine about it as long as he used to and is starting to learn to wait a little while at least! :)Poor Colton is going to be tough though! He's already had Cooper accidentally fall on him, had several balls hit him (thank you, Cooper), and almost got hit in the head with a toy golf club (again, compliments of Cooper)! I joke and say that it'll be amazing if he makes it to his 1 yr. birthday in one piece! :) He's still a very good baby and sleeps a lot. He slept all the way through Zach's baccalaurate and graduation. He slept through an entire Silver Dollar City trip yesterday, and he was very good when I took him to see my class! He usually has one 3-4 hr. stretch of sleep at night and then wakes up about every 2- 2 1/2 hrs. to eat after that. I'm learning to adjust to 5 hrs. of sleep a night! :) At his 2 week check-up, Colton was 9 lbs. 15 3/4 oz. He had gained 1 lb. 2 oz. in a week and a half! I call him my little Piglet! :)

Zach's graduation

My "baby" brother Zach and his girlfriend, Laura, both graduated from CofO on Sunday. I'm so proud of them! I can't believe that my little brother is all grown up and ready to start life in "the real world!"
