Fun in the snow

Cooper woke up this morning and ran to the window shouting, "It's snowing! It's snowing!" He was ready to run outside and play right then while still in his pjs! After bundling him up in his too-big snowsuit, we headed outside. Cooper had an absolute BLAST! He threw snowballs at me, made mini-snowmen, packed snow in his sandbox containers, dumped them out and threw them across the yard, and helped Jim shovel the driveway! He'd throw a shovel full of snow up in the air and it would often land on his head! When it did, he'd say, "Hey! Who did that to me?!" It was so funny!

Weekend visit to KS

Cooper and I recently took a short weekend trip to see my parents while Jim went to a coach's conference in Jefferson City. Cooper had an absolute BLAST with his Grandma Jane & Grandpa Steve! With my mom, he read books and made cake, cookies, cornbread, biscuits, and "car jogurt" (yogurt jello!) and with my dad, he fed the chickens, played in the snow, played "tackle," marched around the house, and played the "magnet game" (a game Cooper made up which was VERY exciting, let me tell you! Oh yeah--I guess you can't hear the sarcasm as I type)! :) Anyway, it was a great, relaxing weekend, and my mom spoiled me by making all my favorite foods for my birthday! :)

Christmas in Missouri

We finally had our last Christmas here in Missouri with my parents, Zach, and Laura. Cooper got a lot of cool toys and could hardly contain his excitment! The bowling set that Jim & I got for him was a HUGE hit!
