Introducing Colton James Voliva!

Well, we found out today that we're going to have another boy (Colton James)! Jim is thrilled, but I was kinda hoping for a little girl this time. It's ok though! I'm still very happy and excited (and NERVOUS for how things will be different with TWO boys!)I just hope this next one is more CALM than Cooper! Cooper got to see the ultrasound with us--although he cried and whimpered part of the time because he didn't know what was going on. I think he thought the nurse was hurting me or something! The doctor said everything looks good and healthy and that Colton currently weighs 13 ounces!

Cooper had a LOT of fun this evening decorating his VERY OWN Christmas tree! At first, he didn't understand how to put the string around the branches--he'd just lay the ornaments down on the branches--all right next to each other! Then, I showed him how to put the string around the branch and how to spread the ornaments out. He got a lot better after that! He helped me decorate the big tree a little bit too--but mostly he kept stealing my ornaments! I bought him his own miniature ornaments for his tree, but he liked a lot of mine too, and kept taking them! He was VERY proud of his tree--so much so that it had to accompany us to every room of the house!

Open House

Weekend at my parents' house

The weekend before Thanksgiving, we always go to my parents' house for the town's annual "Open House." It's not only a big deal for my parents with their pottery business, but it's a big deal for the whole town. It's always a lot of fun! Cooper had a BLAST and spent almost the whole day outside--good thing the weather was BEAUTIFUL! His favorite thing to do was chase around my parents' poor cat Millie! He was totally obsessed with her and loved to pet and hug her!

Cooper & Kaleb had a blast at Silver Dollar City last weekend. They played hard, watched the parade, ate popcorn, and enjoyed the HUGE musical Christmas tree & Christmas lights! They also enjoyed chasing each other around in circles! How that was fun, I have no idea, but they were squealing and laughing hysterically!

Cooper picked this pumpkin out himself. He called it a "baby one." He later painted it at home!
